'It is my opinion that if ever there were a genuine benchmark for stupidity, it's those people who lack the cognition to simultaneously walk whilst holding their mouths closed. Do they not realise how bloody gormless they look? The majority of them probably only take up smoking in the first place, because having a fag in your mouth might be seen as an incentive to keep it shut; and even then, I'll bet that 90% of house fires are caused when these same people, sitting in bed, unwittingly allow their mouths to loll open. Ugh... morons.'

Carrion comfort, perhaps; but for what it's worth, were I 'emo', I'd hate myself too.

I suppose that in itself would make me pretty 'emo'. Hmm.

Okay, okay; so, admittedly, History was somewhat of a disappointment - but then, having done precisely no revision, could I realistically have hoped for any better? Ahem.

So, that's a re-take of the entire History syllabus, along with module 1 of the Politics exam - 95 quid for the privilege (and they said I was one of the lucky ones... humbug). Well, good luck to everyone else who received their results today; I sincerely hope that you have found them to your liking. And, if not, there's always Gloscat ;)

This month, I shall be mostly enjoying white coffee and 40-minute phone conversations with people I like.

The 'soirée' went better than anticipated; significantly better, in fact - despite the noted absence of several 'key' personages (one of whom has asked me into town tomorrow - to compensate, or something more? Only time may tell). Cue humorous discussion of various (and seemingly, random) trivia, interspersed by bouts of Super Smash Bros. and Goldeneye (courtesy of a certain William Haynes), and concluding with a marathon video 'sesh' comprising Ring and Ring 2 consecutively - none of which, I must confess, was to be tainted by our usual accompanying exploits of the alcoholic variety (for lack of spirits, perhaps). Much obliged to all who made the occasion (both in the temporal sense, and out of it); to Will in particular for ensuring that my house ended up cleaner in the aftermath than it ever had been beforehand (a phenomenon by which I may profess to be both grateful and perturbed in equal measure); and to [censored] for whatever tomorrow may hold: I shall see you all, Fate willing, at Sheridan's.
